Working Student Software Engineering (m/f/d)

  • Hybrid
    • Berlin, Berlin, Germany
  • neXenio Engineering

Job description

This is neXenio

we build secure software.

Guided by this motto, we design, develop, and operate software for domains where security, sovereignty, and reliability are critical — ranging from AI applications and business solutions to identity & access management, highly secure platforms, and critical systems.

We support our customers from the initial idea all the way to production operation. Security-by-Design, Compliance-by-Design, and EU-sovereign infrastructure are not add-ons for us, but the foundation of every architecture we build.

We work on solutions for the public sector, healthcare, regulated industries, and critical infrastructure — anywhere software must not only work, but remain stable, secure, and responsibly operated over the long term.

As a Working Student Software Engineering (m/f/d), you will support our team in building modern software solutions across the entire stack — from backend services and platform components to frontend features, depending on the team and project.

Your tasks:

  • Contribute to the development of our software products across frontend, backend, or platform layers

  • Develop and maintain APIs, services, and system components

  • Support work on identity & access management, security, or infrastructure-related topics

  • Implement small features and fix bugs

  • Participate in testing, code reviews, and technical quality assurance

  • Support data processing, system integrations, and interfaces

  • Gain insights into Security-by-Design, cloud architectures, and operating production systems

  • Optional: contribute to prototyping or research topics in AI, security, or cryptography
